About

I work as a Data Engineer at DigitalH, where I help build ETL pipelines on AWS Glue with PySpark and Python, moving and cleaning data stored in Amazon S3.

Outside work I learn by building complete projects: a streaming pipeline with Kafka and Flink, batch pipelines orchestrated with Airflow, and a SQL Server warehouse modeled as a star schema. Each one has a README that explains the design and how to run it.

I care about data that is reliable and well documented, and about pipelines the next engineer can understand and run on day one.

Tower Health Stream

A streaming pipeline that watches simulated telemetry from 10,192 real Egyptian cell tower locations.

On a local Docker stack it kept up with 2,038 events per second and raised alerts in under 150 ms.

Log Analytics ETL

An Airflow and PySpark pipeline that turns 3.5 GB of raw web server logs into clean Parquet and reports.

10.36 million records processed end to end in about 5 minutes, and Parquet cut the data from 3.5 GB to 235 MB.
